CD drive won't read discs

My CD drive does not read any of the CDs that I put in it. The drive doesn't seem to spin as fast as it should. What can I do? Is it a fault of my CDs or is it the drive itself?

It sounds as if the drive isn't locating the track data on the CD. Sometimes if you eject the tray, turn the disc a bit and put it back in again the drive will read it. However, if it happens with different discs it is a problem with the drive itself. You could try using a CD drive cleaning kit. If that doesn't work there's nothing you can do except replace the drive.
